At QyzPU, a new composition of the Student Rectorate has been determined
(Election Results)
The University’s Youth Policy Center organized elections for the new composition of the Student Rectorate in honor of World Election Day.
The voting process took place on February 10 as part of this event. Prior to that, the candidates participated in an election campaign week, during which they presented their programs and outlined their plans, which play an important role in contributing to the development of the university.
As a result of the active participation of our students in the voting process, the new composition of the Student Rectorate was fairly determined. The results are as follows:
- Student Rector: From the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies, a 3rd-year student majoring in 6B05305 – Physics, Roza Asetovna Rakhmatullayeva, was elected with 72% of the vote.

The main goal of the Student Rector is to establish an effective and modern system of student governance aimed at unlocking the academic, scientific, and social potential of students, as well as contributing to the sustainable development of the university.
1. Improving academic quality and strengthening the student voice
– Enhancing the student feedback system in the educational process;
– Expanding student participation in shaping academic policy;
– Developing independent mechanisms for evaluating the quality of education.
2. Supporting research and innovation activities
– Encouraging student participation in research projects;
– Integrating into international and national scientific initiatives;
– Developing an ecosystem to support startups and innovative projects.
3. Developing campus infrastructure and student environment
– Creating safe, accessible, and modern academic and social spaces;
– Improving the quality of life in student residences;
– Enhancing digital infrastructure.
4. Social responsibility and student well-being
– Developing psychological and social support systems for students;
– Creating an inclusive environment with equal opportunities;
– Supporting student initiatives and volunteer movements.
5. Transparency, accountability, and effective governance
– Ensuring transparency in the activities of the student rectorate;
– Providing regular reporting on decisions made;
– Developing direct communication channels with students.
6. International cooperation and exchange of experience
– Establishing partnerships with student organizations of foreign universities;
– Participating in international forums and programs;
– Implementing best practices at the university level.
- Student Vice-Rector for Social Work and Student Affairs: From the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies, a 2nd-year student of the “Informatics–Robotics” program (6B01514), Asemgul Nurgazyevna Zhumagazieva, received 51% of the vote.
- Student Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs: Diana Nurbekovna Saurenova, a 2nd-year student of the “Informatics–Robotics” program (6B01514), Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies, won with 28% of the vote.
- Student Vice-Rector for Scientific Development and Strategic Affairs: From the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, a 2nd-year student majoring in 6B01201 – Preschool Education and Upbringing, Diana Baidildayevna Bekmurat, won with 54% of the vote.
- Student Vice-Rector for Infrastructure Development: From the Institute of Philology, a 2nd-year student majoring in 6B01701 – Training Teachers of Kazakh Language and Literature, Bayan Keulimzhaevna Sansyzbay, received 94% of the vote.
The Youth Policy Center effectively organizes students’ extracurricular activities and focuses on their civic and patriotic education by conducting various cultural, spiritual, social, sports, and creative events at the university.
The Center strengthens cooperation between the university administration and students, supports student initiatives, and enhances social engagement.
Main Objective of the Center
To increase the number of young people with high moral standards, responsibility, social competence, and active civic attitudes within the educational institution.
The Center provides opportunities for students to:
- participate in organizing the educational process;
- spend their free time productively and effectively;
- actively engage in public initiatives;
- develop leadership skills, independence, and social responsibility.
- A key mission of the Center is to educate future professionals based on moral and spiritual values and to develop socially significant competencies necessary for students’ personal and professional growth.
- The Youth Policy Center carries out systematic activities in the following areas:
- development of Kazakhstani patriotism and strengthening national values;
- formation of legal culture and anti-corruption awareness;
- promotion of a healthy lifestyle and mass sports;
- popularization of national sports and traditional games;
- development of students’ creative abilities and involvement in arts and culture;
- provision of social support and assistance in difficult life situations;
- protection of students’ rights and legal interests;
- participation in student self-government activities;
- support in selecting student council leaders and active members;
- development and implementation of youth policy initiatives;
- creation of favorable conditions for intellectual, innovative, and creative development.
