Early Identification of Destructive Student Behavior

At the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, a meeting for academic advisors was held on the topic “Early Identification of Destructive Student Behavior,” organized by the Center for Mental Health Development. The event was conducted by psychotherapist Raushan Karimova.

The main purpose of the meeting was to enhance advisors’ skills in the early detection of signs of destructive behavior among students, prevent such manifestations, and discuss effective methods of psychological support.

During the event, participants exchanged experiences on observing students’ behavioral patterns, recognizing warning signs, and taking appropriate action in emotionally tense situations. Through interactive exercises and analysis of real-life examples, advisors practiced practical methods of effective communication and engagement with students.

Such meetings not only improve the professional competence of academic advisors but also help to create a safe and supportive educational environment and strengthen students’ psychological well-being.

In addition, the psychologists provided useful recommendations on preventing destructive behavior, establishing trustful relationships, and maintaining students’ emotional stability.

The event was held within the framework of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being).
