On March 12, volunteers from “Open Heart” and activists from the FMCT Institute conducted a cleanup at the central mosque in Almaty! As part of the project, our volunteers and activists contributed to tidying up the interior of the mosque to ensure it is clean and comfortable.

This is not just a cleaning event; it is also a pathway to charity and spiritual development! We are immensely grateful to all the volunteers and activists who participated in this noble cause!

Let’s never tire of doing good deeds!

On April 19, a large community cleanup event was organized with the participation of volunteers in one of the unique natural areas of Almaty — the Bauma Grove. This initiative aimed to clean up the green space, which serves as the lungs of the city, and to preserve it in a pristine state for future generations.

Activities carried out during the cleanup included:

• Gathering litter and waste among the trees
• Cleaning up leaves and shrub debris
• Treating and caring for some tree stumps
• Cleaning and restoring pedestrian pathways

The most important part was the unity of people working together and their caring attitude towards nature! This was not just a cleanup; it was a significant mission. Volunteers devoted their time willingly and made concrete efforts to protect the environment. Such initiatives not only benefit the surrounding nature but also invigorate the community.

Our team of volunteers provided assistance to low-income families on March 20 by delivering food and essential items. Through this initiative, we aimed to extend a helping hand to those in need and make their lives a little bit better.

Charity is a sign of a big heart! We believe that compassion and kindness reside within every person’s heart, which is why it is our duty to engage in such good deeds. By spreading the kindness we receive, we can bring warmth and joy to those around us.

The Department of Personal Development, Center for Women’s Leadership and Entrepreneurship invited students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports to a motivational meeting titled “ALMATY HALF MARATHON 2026: The Formula for Achieving Goals.”

The speaker was Tolkyn Nurysheva, Director at Microsoft Kazakhstan, marathon runner, and two-time Masters category champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in athletics.

During the event, the speaker shared practical examples of achieving success through discipline and persistence, developing role and leadership qualities, and effective methods for setting clear goals while believing in one’s dreams.
