Cleanup Event Held as Part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” Campaign

On November 18, 2025, Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University organized a large-scale cleanup event in support of the national environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan.” Active university students, volunteer groups, and faculty members took part in the event.

The main goal of the campaign is to support state environmental policy, promote a culture of careful and responsible treatment of nature, and increase youth awareness regarding environmental protection. During the cleanup, participants cleaned the university grounds, sports and recreational areas, as well as nearby public spaces, sorting the collected waste.

The university administration emphasized that efforts to strengthen environmental culture will continue on a regular basis. QyzPU remains committed to supporting environmental initiatives and places special importance on fostering an environmentally responsible mindset among young people.

Early Identification of Destructive Student Behavior

At the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, a meeting for academic advisors was held on the topic “Early Identification of Destructive Student Behavior,” organized by the Center for Mental Health Development. The event was conducted by psychotherapist Raushan Karimova.

The main purpose of the meeting was to enhance advisors’ skills in the early detection of signs of destructive behavior among students, prevent such manifestations, and discuss effective methods of psychological support.

During the event, participants exchanged experiences on observing students’ behavioral patterns, recognizing warning signs, and taking appropriate action in emotionally tense situations. Through interactive exercises and analysis of real-life examples, advisors practiced practical methods of effective communication and engagement with students.

Such meetings not only improve the professional competence of academic advisors but also help to create a safe and supportive educational environment and strengthen students’ psychological well-being.

In addition, the psychologists provided useful recommendations on preventing destructive behavior, establishing trustful relationships, and maintaining students’ emotional stability.

The event was held within the framework of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being).

 

Personal Development and Inner Harmony

A motivational training session titled “Personal Development and Inner Harmony” was held in Dormitory No. 6 of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University. The event was conducted by psychologists from the Center for Mental Health Development, Akbota Nurlankyzy and Nazerke Yesenamankyzy.

The main goal of the training was to help students develop self-awareness skills, build inner harmony and emotional resilience, and strengthen a culture of personal growth and positive thinking.

During the session, participants identified their life values and priorities, shared their thoughts on goals that contribute to personal development, and took part in interactive exercises and self-awareness games, which allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of their inner selves.

In addition, the specialists provided practical recommendations on maintaining emotional stability, overcoming internal challenges, and developing a positive outlook on life.

This event was implemented within the framework of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being).

Spiritual Security of Youth: Ways to Prevent Radical Ideologies

On October 29, 2025, an educational meeting for first-year students of the Institute of Philology was held at the Center for Mental Health Development of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University.

The main purpose of the event was to strengthen the spiritual security of young people and to enhance their level of religious literacy.

During the meeting, Ismail Nurislam, theologian at the Center for Mental Health Development, presented the key areas of the Center’s activities and spoke in detail about the current religious situation, as well as the influence of radical ideologies spread across the internet on the minds of young people.

The event also featured a guest speaker — Nursultan Karazhanov, PhD doctoral student and member of the Republican Information and Educational Group, who discussed the relationship between religion and tradition, the importance of preserving national values, and the negative impact of false religious movements on society.

He particularly emphasized the importance of religious literacy, urging students to critically assess incoming information and to develop a conscious civic position.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants were informed about Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Religious Activity and Religious Associations,” which prohibits the conduct of worship services, religious rites and meetings, as well as missionary activities within the premises of educational institutions.

The event was informative and contributed to strengthening the students’ spiritual culture and understanding of the connection between religion and tradition.

An Educational Meeting Aimed at Enhancing Youth Religious Literacy Was Held

On October 28, 2025, an educational meeting aimed at improving students’ religious literacy was held at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University. The event was organized by the Center for Mental Health Development for first-year students of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics, and Digital Technologies.

During the meeting, Ismail Nurislam, theologian at the Center for Mental Health Development, spoke about the main areas of the Center’s activities and addressed issues related to the current religious landscape and the influence of radical ideologies spreading through the internet on young people’s worldviews. He emphasized the importance of developing critical thinking when perceiving religious information and adopting a conscious approach to matters of faith.

Alip Tursingali, member of the Republican Information and Outreach Group and religious scholar, also spoke at the event. He elaborated on the interconnection between religion and tradition, the need to preserve national values, and the dangers of pseudo-religious movements for society. The speaker provided specific examples explaining the ideological methods of radical movements and ways to prevent their influence.

At the end of the meeting, participants were informed about Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Religious Activity and Religious Associations.” In particular, it was noted that holding religious gatherings and conducting missionary activities on the premises of educational institutions is prohibited.

Such meetings contribute to the development of students’ spiritual culture, the enhancement of their religious literacy, and the strengthening of a healthy worldview.

 

A Meeting for Advisor-Teachers on Early Detection of Students’ Destructive Behavior Was Held

A meeting for advisor-teachers on the topic “Early Detection of Destructive Behavior Among Students” was held at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University.

The event was conducted by Raushan Karimova, psychotherapist at the Center for Mental Health Development, and Sara Musina, coach-psychologist.

The main purpose of the meeting was to help advisor-teachers develop skills for the early recognition of behavioral changes in students, the organization of preventive measures, and the provision of psychological support.

During the session, the specialist discussed in detail the main causes and signs of destructive behavior among students, and presented effective prevention methods and psychological approaches. Participants engaged in practical exercises based on real-life situations and discussed strategies for establishing effective communication with students.

The psychotherapist also provided useful recommendations on monitoring students’ emotional well-being, building trustful relationships, and identifying potential difficulties in a timely manner.

Almaty Youth Policy Representatives Meet with Active QyzPU Students

At the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU), a meeting was held between representatives of the Almaty City Youth Policy Department and active university students.

The event was attended by Nursultan Bekkairov, Head of the Department for Youth Socialization and Information Support, and Nurlan Mukhtaruly, Head of the Department for Work with Higher Education Institutions.

The main purpose of the meeting was to inform students about new city projects and opportunities and to support student initiatives.

During the discussion, participants received detailed information about the activities of district community centers in Almaty, employment and career opportunities for students, and ways to collaborate with active youth.

In turn, the university students asked questions and shared their proposals and ideas related to youth policy.

Such meetings help strengthen connections and cooperation between young people and government institutions, while also promoting social engagement and active participation among students.

QyzPU Students Took Part in a Training on Motivation and Personal Development

On October 23, 2025, a training session on the topic “Motivation and Personal Development” was held at Student Dormitory No. 5 of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU).

The event was conducted by psychologists from the Center for Mental Health Development, Akbota Nurlankyzy and Nazerke Yesenamankyzy.

The main goal of the training was to enhance students’ internal motivation, develop goal-setting and achievement skills, and strengthen self-confidence and personal growth.

During the session, participants identified their personal life priorities, discussed ways to achieve success, and took part in motivational games and practical exercises that helped them uncover their potential and build a positive mindset.

The psychologists shared useful advice on how to increase motivation, develop persistence and self-confidence, and overcome life’s challenges.

The event was held in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 3 – Good Health and Well-being.

 

Tuition Discounts Approved for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

A meeting of the Commission on Tuition Discount Allocation was held at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University to determine tuition discounts for students studying on a fee-paying basis in the 2025–2026 academic year.

The work of the Commission was carried out in accordance with the Regulations on Granting Tuition Discounts to Students. The main goal is to support students from socially vulnerable groups, encourage talented youth, and effectively manage student enrollment.

During the meeting, the Commission thoroughly reviewed students’ academic performance, social status, and the authenticity of the submitted documents. According to the Commission’s decision, each student may receive only one type of discount at a time.

This initiative aligns with one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – SDG 1: No Poverty.

 

Rules for Applying to Public Service Clarified

On October 15, a meeting was held at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University with the participation of Nursultan Seidaliyev, Head of the Department of the Agency for Public Service Affairs in the Almaty Region, active students, and representatives of the student government.

The main goal of the meeting was to provide young people with detailed information about the procedures for entering public service and the opportunities available in this field.

During the event, Nursultan Akylbekuly explained the process of applying for public service, the procedure for participating in competitions for vacant positions, and the use of online portals www.gov.kz and www.eqyzmet.gov.kz. He noted that graduates who completed their studies under the state order with a GPA of 3.33 or higher are eligible, within one year after graduation, to be appointed to administrative positions in category “B” without competitive selection.

Participants were also informed about salary levels in the public service system, social benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Additionally, it was noted that currently there are over 190 vacant state administrative positions in the Almaty region, a significant portion of which are available to young specialists and university graduates.

The meeting was organized within the framework of the “Adal Azamat” roadmap aimed at strengthening patriotic values among youth, preventing corruption, and enhancing the prestige of public service.

At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions and practical recommendations related to applying and career development within the public service system.
